8th Annual Think Pink Luncheon
The 8th Annual Think Pink Luncheon was a huge success and all who attended enjoyed the beautiful setting, speakers and entertainers.
Luncheon guests were welcomed to the Dining Room at River Oaks Country Club with a runner of Pink Carpet and the large traveling ribbon representing the Morgan Welch Inflammatory Breast Cancer Clinic at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The ten Opportunity Baskets were especially fantastic with offers from hotels in Panama City, Panama, Honolulu, Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, Lake Conroe, and Helotes, Texas. Airline tickets were offered on Southwest Airlines and jewelry, handbags, cosmetics and wine were just a few of the many lovely items offered for the raffle.
Guests were greeted upon entering the Ballroom by The Champion Sisters. Dominique Sachse gave a welcome address and The Champion Sisters sang an inspiration song titled “Rock in a River”. The keynote speaker, Shara Fryer, shared many details of her remarkable experiences over the past several years.
As always, the tables were decorated with beautiful flowers, gift bags filled with information and goodies, a Think Pink Hershey bar and an amazing program presented as a VIP pass book. The uniquely beautiful 4th Limited Edition Scarf designed by Chloe Dao was presented to all breast cancer survivors attending the luncheon.
