This month, we spotlight two more Zeta officers: our Historian, Carol Petrusek, who does double-duty as Records Chairman, and Megan Rust, our Assistant Night Chairman, who coordinates our food/beverage hostesses. Thank you, ladies, for all you do to help make our Association so successful!
Carol was initiated in 1974 with the Alpha Nu Chapter at Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. She and her husband Beau have been married for 26 1/2 years and have two beautiful red headed daughters: Beth, who was a Zeta at Baylor and is a member of HAA, and Lara, who attends Savannah College of Art & Design. She is presently the Buyer for joeToga.com, a sorority and fraternity store. She is involved in HAA, Ft. Bend Zetas and Ft. Bend Panhellenic, and she loves to read romance novels and watch TV.
Megan pledged Zeta in 1988 at Southern Methodist University (Omega Chapter). She is a Pathologist at The Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center. She is an avid runner and runs daily. She lives with her cat, a calico named Tempest, who runs her life! She knits, makes jewelry and pottery, loves to antique shop, go to museums, see movies, and go to the ballet – she has season tickets to the Ballet and has extra tickets – so if you want to go, let her know! She was a ballerina from age 8 to 13.
